The bug's been reported to our Team, and they're currently working hard to find a permanent fix. For now, here's a work-around to bypass the error message:
- Go to the URL below:
- If there are no red letters saying "Email address is not verified", then continue to STEP 2.
- If you do see the red error message, you'll need to check your email account and confirm your email address (by clicking the link in the email that YouTube sent you when you created your username and account).
If you're unable to find the confirmation email from YouTube, then you should also check your spam folder in your email account to make sure the confirmation email was not filtered there.
- Once you've found the email, click the link included in the email to confirm your account. Your new YouTube account will then be activated (and you'll be able to use our community features).
- After you've confirmed / verified your email, go to the following URL:
As mentioned before, our team's currently trying resolve the situation, and a permanent fix (in addition to this temporary work-around) will be on its way shortly. Thank you, as always, for your patience and understanding in the meantime.
